The Kobe Chapter of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) is pleased to announce a call for papers for the next issue of the peer-reviewed Kobe JALT Journal.

The journal invites submissions for the following sections:

Research articles will be subject to peer review by members of JALT.

Full-length research articles should be under 7,000 words, including references, notes, tables, figures, and appendixes.

2.     Teaching Methods

Introductions to specific, effective classroom practices will be reviewed by the editorial team at Kobe JALT.

Teaching Methods should be under 4,000 words, including references, notes, tables, figures, and appendixes.

3.     Curricula Design

Introductions to broad course and materials design will be reviewed by the editorial team at Kobe JALT.  Curricula Design submissions should be under 4,000 words, including references, notes, tables, figures, and appendixes.

4.     Professional Training and Advice

Many Kobe JALT members have expressed a desire to read brief articles on navigating professional academic life in Japan. Members can send in specific questions they have, and we will find an expert in the field to answer them. In addition, we welcome short submissions from members with expert advice to offer fellow members.

These submissions should be under 4,000 words.

Submissions should be emailed to kobejaltpublications@gmail.com.

As with other JALT publications, please include a cover sheet with the title and author name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information of the corresponding author. In addition to the manuscript, including title, abstract, and keywords, please attach a blinded version of the article without reference to the author. Follow the JALT Journal style sheet:
